The missed day in January impacted valuable classroom learning, and this make-up day provides the opportunity to stay on track with the curriculum and academic progress. 📢📢 Weather Update 1-22-25 📢📢 La Vernia ISD will be open as scheduled tomorrow, January 22, 2025. All schools will operate with normal hours, and we look forward to welcoming students back to class.

Dear LVISD Family, Due to inclement weather forecasts for Tuesday, January 21st, school will be canceled for the day. This includes all classes and extracurricular events. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority, and we feel this decision is in the best interest of our community. We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions as we approach Wednesday, January 22nd, and will keep you updated regarding any further changes or closures.
