📢❄️🏫 Important Update for LVISD Students and Families: Friday, April 4, 2025, will be a regular school day to make up for the instructional time lost during the ice day on January 20, 2025. LVISD will utilize the first allocated inclement weather make-up day on the 2024-2025 calendar. ❗ It is crucial for all students to attend on this make-up day to ensure they do not miss important instructional time. The missed day in January impacted valuable classroom learning, and this make-up day provides the opportunity to stay on track with the curriculum and academic progress. Every day of instruction counts toward preparing students for their academic goals, so attendance on April 4th is essential. 🏫❄️📢 Let’s work together to keep learning on schedule!

📢📢 Weather Update 1-22-25 📢📢 La Vernia ISD will be open as scheduled tomorrow, January 22, 2025. All schools will operate with normal hours, and we look forward to welcoming students back to class.

Dear LVISD Family, Due to inclement weather forecasts for Tuesday, January 21st, school will be canceled for the day. This includes all classes and extracurricular events. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority, and we feel this decision is in the best interest of our community. We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions as we approach Wednesday, January 22nd, and will keep you updated regarding any further changes or closures. All students in the LVISD district will be there to cheer on our amazing team! 🎉 So mark your calendars for Thursday, December 12th from 1:53pm-2:46pm, because we need your energy and support! 💪 But wait, before you head over to the stadium, here's some important info: 📝 🚗 PARKING: We know parking can be a hassle, so we've got you covered! Please park at the La Vernia City Park. Students will be using the road behind the schools to access the stadium, so please park at the La Vernia City Park and not along the roads around the LVISD schools. 🚙 👥 SEATING: To ensure that everyone gets a great view, students will be seated in their designated sections. Parents/community members, please be seated in the designated section on the map! 👀 🚫 STADIUM POLICY REMINDERS: Please see the Carry-In Policy reminders for LVISD Stadium.
